A new version of Polvo eres installed in the Coltabaco Building. A large space covered with debris from the building's own demolished walls, where small pioneer plants emerge as if something insisted on resurfacing.

Biography

Her work develops around themes such as time, memory, ruin, and the vulnerability of monuments.

Born in London in 1954, Escallón has developed over three decades a body of work that interrogates the boundaries between the natural and the constructed, memory and oblivion, decay and permanence.
